“October 16, 2011: GREAT DAY OF THE DREAMERS”
The Memphis and Mid-South Salute to the Dedication of the Dr. MLK, Jr. DC Memorial
The Ultimate King Prophecy has been fulfilled. Thanks for visiting our site and please know that any and all donations are welcomed.
On October 16, 2011, the nation will acknowledge the King Legacy at the highest level of all times in tribute/honor.
With tens of thousands of MLK sanctions granted to approve museums, centers, schools, highways, streets, etc, in his name, only two have required Joint Congressional Resolution and Presidential approval: The Federal Holiday, (currently the 25th Anniversary) honoring his birthday and now, the establishment/dedication of the National Dr. MLK Memorial. Memphis is one of three cities high in visibility and on record documenting this day.
The event producers, The College of Aspiring Artists (formally MARTEX Productions), were producers of the first Memphis national salutes to the Federal Holiday honoring Dr. King for three years at the Orpheum Theatre and the opening entertainment tribute for the National Civil Rights Museum as well as the developers of the Church of God in Christ Corporate Salute and the KFC Memphis Gospel Showcase. Film producers will also be on site screening documentaries. Birmingham and Atlanta will be expressed vividly via the creative economy with film and art.
Features/Highlights include:
v Pre-opening Ceremony
v FEEL THE MOVEMENT: From Prophecy to Promise (final filming of the documentary)
v Edutainment Bus Tour to DC from Memphis and the Mid-South
v Cities of Honor on the Bus Tour
v Inaugural Class of TCAA- All Passengers will receive a certificate of merit from our college.
